My Kind Of College is dedicated to helping you learn as much as you can about college. Easy enough, right? Not so much. Look we've been there. We know what it's like to pull an all-nighter, live with a horrible roommate, make new friends, lose touch with old ones, explore new environments, and grow as a person- all while trying to keep our studies afloat.

My Kind Of College is like our diary. Tap into our thoughts and learn from our triumphs and our mistakes. Yes, college is exciting, and new, and about a million other things, but it's also about evolving and discovering what you want from life and yourself.

Not only are we utilizing a wide spectrum of college experiences, but the talents of artists to help bring those stories to life. Animators, illustrators, and designers are putting their skills to use to create an extraordinary environment where learning is not just something you do, but something you experience.

Welcome to My Kind Of College. We Draw. You Learn! ®

Anne Raphael is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of My Kind Of College, LLC. As a student at the University of Southern California, Anne realized that there was so much about college and life that high school did not prepare her for. After she graduated from USC with honors in 2007, Anne postponed her foray into Medical School to launch a company that really helped students understand and prepare for all of the challenges - expected and unexpected - that college may bring.

Anne is an expert in the college preparation process and has the accolades to prove it. She graduated in the top 3% of her high school and was granted automatic admission into several universities on the basis of her grades alone. She’s an AP Scholar and an International Baccalaureate Diplomat. She became a published writer at 11 and started taking college courses when she was 15. At 16, Anne was chosen to be a high school intern at the Scripps Research Institute where she studied and researched the autoimmune disease Lupus. She had an early interest in the field of medicine and so began volunteering at her local hospital at 14 and even had the opportunity to suture her first patient at 15. As a high school senior, Anne received close to $20,000 in scholarships and grants to help pay for college. When it comes to college, Anne understands what it takes to succeed and thrive. And now, students across the county can harness the resources and tools available on My Kind Of College to not only prepare for, but flourish in college. College isn’t as hard as they say, because My Kind Of College is here to save the day!

Anne is incredibly accessible and loves to help others. Feel free to ask her questions or get advice directly from her. (Due to the volume of emails, she may not be able to get back to you right away). Anne is also available to speak at your school, organization, event, or conference.
